| Bio: | I have three cats. I'm still a little stunned that I'm in Myrtle Beach. I have a boyfriend who makes me laugh every single day, and I've decided I want to laugh every day for the rest of my life. I love words, and what can be done with them, and I'm a little bit of a grammar/usage/spelling Nazi, even though I'm far from perfect myself. I value imagination, compassion, courage, and insight. My father, for the first time in my life, recently told me he was proud of me and it made me cry for an hour. I believe in God, and I'm actively seeking the details. I read a great deal, I sing, I write, I play video games, and I've recently learned to play cribbage. I try to be kind to people, to talk to strangers, and generally be as cool as I'm purportedly perceived to be. I smoke, I imbibe entirely too much caffeine, and I grind my teeth a lot. I miss Delaware, my family, and my friends... Somehow, though, when I'm standing shin-deep in warm ocean, breathing air that feels and smells like a head rush of bliss and watching the sun rise, it's hard to regret being here. I'm extremely verbose, I get unnecessarily loud when I'm enthused or otherwise emphatic about what I'm saying, and I very often completely miss subtle signals from people. Additionally, I am told I think entirely too much. My reply remains, "There's no such thing." |
